Mission
The 131st District of the House of Representatives covers parts of Newton and McDonald County. Marilyn has done an exceptional job and I am determined to follow her lead. When approached with the idea of running for State Representative I knew it would give me a chance to make a difference and be a voice for the people. There are a lot of different opinions on politics, but regardless of political affiliations, everyone has a constant variable-they want an elected official to represent their interest!
I embrace all the conservative values: Protection of the unborn, smaller government, 2nd amendment rights, tax relief for small businesses, tax relief for senior citizens, state and local control for education, promotion of job growth through expansion of small businesses, and to intensify the "war on meth". We must live within our means...By Missouri Law we must balance our state budget. If we receive less revenue then we must reduce our expenses. At the same time we must make sure that our essential services are not neglected. We have to provide Fire protection and Law enforcement, adequately fund our schools, maintain our road systems, and at the same time encourage small business growth as they employ the majority of our workforce! Obviously there is much to do. I am no stranger to adversity; and, I am confident that with your help, I can make a difference for all of us, our children, and our grandchildren!!
